I filed for AOS during July 2007 fiasco. I filed I-140 (Company A)concurrently with I-485. This concurrently filed I-140 got denied. I had another approved I-140 (Company B)from a different employer. My I-485 is still pending. Is there anyway to use AC-21 to reuse old approved I-140 for this pending I-485? Thanks for your valuable inputs.

What a piece of work from the man who warned us about death panels in the health care bill. His grasp of the facts don't seem to be much better when it comes to USCIS' enforcement of H-1B rules. For adjustee's AP gives permission to travel out-in. I think it should be ok to travel (you can subscribe to case updates and you'll know the case status)

Thanks for poiintiing this out. Pls try to find others like you stuck in retrogression from yoiur state/company. You can build a state chapter in your state and help organize activities.

All the people I saw till are had their OWN labors so ...!!!

This is my third EAD renewal. My 485 is pending at NSC. I am in CA. All my previous EADs/APs etc were filed at NSC.
This time when my EAD renewal is filed (by my new attorney, in new company) I got receipt Number starting with MSC.
Who decides where to file MSC? What's the criteria to file at MSC? Shouldn't it be file at NSC?
Is this a mistake?
No it is not. It is the National Benefits Center receipt number. Mine got transferred from the TSC.

When a particular priority date becomes current in the next month's bulletin,say the July bulletin. Does USCIS start looking at the current cases once the July bulletin is issued or starts looking at them from July 1st.

Folks,
I have a coworker who is a citizen of Canada and got I-140 approved yesterday.
The question is how safe, easy and hassle-free it will be to do a CP (Counselor Processing) from Canada instead of I-485? CP will be done in US embassy in Montreal. Do you guys know any experiences from your other friends? Any relevant information will be appreciated.

Yes there is away to track your 140.
Goto https://egov.immigration.gov/cris/jsps/index.jsp and create your profile and you will be able to track the process. THere is option to receive email from USCIS whenever there is a change in your file (you have to select that option)

Here's a thought!
Why not install a microchip into every elected official, so that they are never ever tempted to do anything wrong ............. this way they truly will be working for the american people instead of themselves.
